About David

After attending El Camino College with a major in business management, David’s career journey started with BNSF Railway Company in 1997. Over the past three decades, he honed his leadership skills in various union positions and has a unique understanding of the needs of union trade workers, which has allowed David to ascend to his current role as a Regional Insurance Manager with AJFL. David has consistently been recognized as a top agent.

David enjoys investing, studying, reading, along with hiking and traveling. He is happily married to his wife Rowena and has four children.

About Matt

Matt is a Cum Laude Graduate from Walters State University and began his career in the rail industry in 1998 with Norfolk Southern. He has served various union leadership positions since 2004. He joined AJFL in 2015 and in 2017 was promoted to Field Supervisor and now serves as Regional Insurance Manager. He truly believes in helping every member understand the importance of protecting their families from unfortunate circumstances life can bring.

In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing in his small hometown of Cumberland Gap, TN alongside his wife Amber.

About Chris

Chris began his railroad career as a fourth-generation conductor in 2002 with Union Pacific Railroad out of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is a proud union member serving in various union leadership roles including LA State Legislative Director, Safety Team, and Southern Rail Commission.

Chris began his insurance career as Local Insurance Representative in 2010, was elevated to Territory Manager in 2021 and then promoted to Regional Manager in 2023. He understands and values the importance of protecting the financial situation of your family in the event of an unfortunate accident or illness. His understanding of the important of protecting the financial situation of working families has been a key role in Chris’s success.

In his down time Chris enjoys spending time with the love of his life Katy, and their children along with golfing and saltwater fishing.

About Matt

Matt began his railroad career in 2005 with BNSF after a three-year stint in the NFL as a journeyman offensive lineman, spending most of that time with the New York Jets and New England Patriots. Prior to the NFL, he was a scholarship athlete with the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Football team, where they won the National Championship of Division II Football in 2001. While at UND, Matt was a Cum Laude graduate with multiple degrees.

Matt is a proud member of SMART TD Local 1059 out of Minot North Dakota. He has spent the majority of his railroad career in union officer positions and is currently President of his local. He began his insurance career in the fall of 2023 with AJFL as Territory Manager of the Great Plains Region. He has a passion for protecting those around him and understands the importance of securing one’s financial future.

Matt and his beautiful wife Leslie reside in Minot, North Dakota with their daughter Quinn, and sons Marcus and Cameron. In down time, Matt enjoys being with his family, traveling and the outdoors.
