AJFL is committed to ensuring that anyone who is entitled to benefits is paid. Unfortunately, undeliverable mail, wrong addresses or insufficient information on the beneficiary of a policy can lead to delays in payment. We work diligently to ensure that we honor our obligations. As a commitment to that obligation, we have included this page which can help you find funds that you may be entitled to. The first link is to a home office record of unclaimed funds. After a certain time has expired, we hand over the funds to the State for deposit in their unclaimed funds account.

Occasionally, despite our best efforts, we are unable to locate the beneficiary of a policy. We use many ways to attempt to locate them but, due to moves, deaths, inaccurate information etc., some funds remain unclaimed. After a certain time period expires, we then submit those funds to the state of Ohio for deposit as unclaimed funds.
